Aeolian Land S.A. was founded by Dimitris Al. Katsaprakakis, Dr. Mechanical Engineer and Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering School of Technological Educational Institute (T.E.I.) of Crete.
Dimitris Al. Katsaprakakis was born in 15of April 1973. He ended school in Arkalochori Heraklion Crete in 1991 and he attended the basic Mechanical Engineering studies in National Technical University of Athens (N.T.U.A.) from 1991 to 1996. He was acclaimed as a Doctor in Mechanical Engineering by the same School in March 2007.
In September 2008 he was elected as Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineers School of T.E.I. of Crete.
In research and professional level he has studied the simulation of electricity production systems, the siting, the dimensioning and the design of hybrid power plants of large and small size, the power quality, the dimensioning and the design of thermal hybrid power plants, the energy saving technologies application in building, swimming pools, sports centers and electromechanical equipment.
For the abovementioned subjects he has developed a series of new dimensioning optimization methods and operational algorithms, which have been integrated in computational codes.
All this work has been published and presented in tens of articles and participation in international acclaimed journals and conferences.
